that Niagra Half looks mighty tempting…
Definitely! Did it last year and it was a pretty nice race :) (Actually my performance wasn’t that nice, but the course was, and I’d like to have a better run this year!)

I haven’t signed up for anything yet, but I’m almost definitely doing the Half Marathon in September with a coworker, and I’d like to do one or two of the trail races. It mainly depends on work and anything else going on.
Still haven’t decided if I’m doing another triathlon… given that I haven’t really been training, probably not. I’d love to, but I don’t really have the $ and the disappointment associated with this has not motivated me to train or do anything else (even though I should regardless).
I haven’t even run much lately. Time to get my ass in gear.
Bounced my ankle off a rock and did a face-plant in the dirt.
And that’s why you pay attention to your feet when you’re trail running… :|
…and I thought it would be great to have a lazy morning and then start running at 11am when the sun was well up. :|
I’m a smart one. Glad I brought water, because it was blistering hot!
Just completed my last two finals today! I’m freeeeeeeee!
Relaxing evening with friends tonight, have a road/trail run mapped out for tomorrow, and even time to sleep in past 5:30 AM. Stoked!
It is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous out today. I couldn’t bear to start studying right when I got home from school/work, so I hopped on my bike and took off for 20.5 miles and followed it up with a half mile jog.
I am now a sweaty mess. Also, I would like to thank the mustached man on the motorbike for giving me the “motorcycle wave” when I passed him on my bike. Thanks for being awesome, sir.
Off to another city for the night, then half marathon in the morning.
It’s going to be long. And cold. Why do I do this to myself. I never manage to appropriately dress for running in the cold. I’m either too hot or freezing.
That will be all.
No, wait - I ran five miles tonight; woohoo.
…and I followed that with an ice cream sundae.
