Our generation talks a lot about how evil war is, but we just sit back and let it happen. Can we please unite for a common cause here? The media is already feeding us propaganda to put Americans in the mood for war. The GOP candidates (aside from Ron Paul) are foaming at the mouth…

I think back to the Iraq war and…nobody gained anything.  Not a damn thing.  In the meanwhile, our roads are crumbling and our schools are going unfunded.  Our young people, highly educated, are going jobless with diminishing hope that they’ll ever do the work that they were trained for.  Or ever earn enough of a living to…for once…experience financial independence or comfort.  But when it comes to destroying Iran, we suddenly have the money and the will.  

I swear I don’t know what this is all for.  I dread the prospect of this war starting a chain of events like the Russo-Japanese war, which prompted the 1905 Russian Revolution and, eventually, the 1917 revolutions.  A lot of people died.  And for what?
